olive oil face cream

This is probably my favorite product. I will never use anything else on my face. The olive oil face cream serves as a cleanser, makeup remover, and moisturizer. It also has a tendency to clear blemishes. I have dry skin, and I find that I still don't need a separate moisturizer; and Lara, owner of ...by Lara, says that it doesn't feel too heavy on her more oily skin. I think this will work great for every skin type.

This is also really great for dry skin spots on other areas of the body. My daughter has had some eczema issues, and it really helps in clearing that as well! This products also works wonders on diaper rashes!

Ingredients: olive oil, water, beeswax, sodium borate

Please be careful not to introduce any water into the container, as this will dramatically decrease the shelf life of this product.

facial scrub

This scrub is essential for exfoliating and softening the face and neck. It comes in a dry form for flexibility. Mix in your palm with Gibson Girl Cosmetics olive oil face cream or use plain water or plain yogurt. Use 2-3 times/week. Avoid scrubbing blemishes, as this will likely cause them to spread to other areas of the face.

This is the ultimate multi-purpose product. A rich, thick butter that can be used on the skin or the hair for deep moisturizing and conditioning. It's many uses include: an everyday body moisturizer, eczema relief, a hair pomade for defrizzing, a leave-in conditioner, a shaving lotion, a mild and natural UV blocker*, and a scar deminisher. Remember--a little goes a long way with this product!!

*while shea butter helps protect against UV rays on a day to day basis, I do not suggest using this as a replacement for sunblock during prolonged sun exposure.

Chamomile Tea and Lavender

herbal soaps

The base I use for my liquid soaps is a highly moisturizing, 100% vegetable solution with no surfactants, propylene glycol, SLS or artificial colors. It was the best, all-natural soap base I could find. You may find that it doesn't "suds" like most conventional soaps. This is because there is no SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), the harmful chemical found in most soaps (even baby soaps). My soaps contain no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin! Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since there are no heavy animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind.

Both of the herbal soaps also make wonderful shampoo!

Green Tea and Lemongrass
This herbal soap has the invigorating aroma of lemongrass with green tea acting as a skin tonic.

Ingredients: green tea, SLS-free soap (Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate and Sodium Oleate, Sorbitol, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Laurate, Sodium Myristate, Pentasodium Pentetate, Tetrasodium Etidronate), lemongrass essential oil
 

Chamomile Tea and Lavender
This herbal soap is calming and gentle. I use this on my daughter's hair and body. It is a gentle, safe formula, and although we have never had any problems, it is not "tear free," as there is no anesthetic agents added as in conventional baby products.

Ingredients: chamomile tea, SLS-free soap (Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate and Sodium Oleate, Sorbitol, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Laurate, Sodium Myristate, Pentasodium Pentetate, Tetrasodium Etidronate), lavender essential oil

baby wipe concentrate

Just a few squirts of this added into distilled water makes a wonderful, safe, gentle, and effective baby wipe solution. Made with the same soap base as my herbal soaps, along with aloe, chamomile water, tea tree oil, and lavender, this baby wipe solution is safely antibacterial and pleasant smelling with skin smoothing properties. This can be used in a spray bottle sprayed directly onto baby's bottom, or it can be used to soak wipes. This also works great as a natural hand sanitizer.
